The Webb-Waring Institute was originally founded by Dr. Gerald R. Webb, a tuberculosis specialist, and Dr. James J. Waring, Chairman of the Dept. of Medicine of the University of Colo. School of Medicine in Colo. Springs, Colo. in 1924.
